About Nancy’s Fashion - In the Beginning
Nancy’s Fashion and Jewelry, Inc. began as a dream……a dream of elegant and fashionable filipino wear provided for that special man or woman.
We, Nancy and Dennis are true entrepreneurs, who embarked on the notion that we would have a shop to provide to the community, with Filipino’s in mind, a place to come and see the many colors and different fashion’s of Filipino garments. We basically wanted to showcase the main product (Barong Tagalog) with highlighting of Terno’s and Maria Clara, as our traditional and most elegant dress wear!
We started from an original home type business offering our products from home. But soon found out that space was our most significant reason for having a shop! You see, trying to house dozens of Barongs and Terno’s, not to mention all the other garments, was our biggest problem.
Well, we finally decided on looking for a small, but nice and quaint place to start. A place that would be centralized for all to come and visit and hopefully find us unique and irresistible. Our inventory has grown so vastly, that we now offer different types and colors of fashionable distinguishable fabrics, such as the “abel” material. We also offer for the little one’s Barongs, dresses and all the accessories that are needed for baptisms, weddings and all the festive wear for just about all of your special occasions.
A precious goldmine of new and creative ideas is the Internet. From materials of “pina” to “jusi” creations of the Philippine fashion and designs created from designers in the Philippines for someone special, we offer this opportunity to our special guests who may find it a very surprising experience to shop here with a view of their every need. By not having somewhere to go and to be able to find a specific type of fashionable yet very naturally distinguishable piece of material or garment, is offered here for your convenience.
The whole atmosphere here in Hawaii, as I’m sure in many other cities and places, that have these festive and gala events, is indeed a shorter journey to find something they need right away, instead of a lot of time and money spent traveling back to the Philippines.
That’s why we felt the need for this website. We want to help cut down the hassle and time, not to mention the expense in search of the right color and style of a Barong, Terno and accessories. We present and offer you to know how wonderful it can be to have what you have been looking for right here at the click of the mouse. We intend this site to be a virtual one-stop-shop for any islander in Hawaii, or for that matter around the globe in search for that fashionable Philippine garment to a prom dress and so much more!
